ART BRUT ou ART OUTSIDER

A marginal, bursting art. Pure, naked and raw. The market tends to take it, although its creative genesis lies in the rupture with the system, the rejection of academies, commercial circuits and even popular art.

It obeys to a visceral and psychic drive, being very often the process and the output of mental disorder therapies, of social disorder. It establishes bonds, a bridge, a path between the chaotic, troubled inner world of an artist and the rules of the outer world.

It presents an immense expressive identity, more often than not a manifestation of archetypes.

It is an absolutely individual art, maybe the only one!

Note: BRUTE ART  is a term which was created by artist Jean Dubuffet in 1945.
